Was turned onto this book over 9 years ago and have purchased many copies for friends that are having difficult times with their own teenagers. It is a MUST read.Also, can help in your day to day life.

You won't regret it. If you have a teenager, or better yet, before your child becomes a teenager, get this book. It gives you strategies for dealing with your teenager while maintaining your self respect and preserving your respect for the teen.
